ABOUT GWM
Great Wall Motor Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "GWM") is a world-renowned SUV and pickup manufacturer. It was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2003 and the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011. By the end of 2018, its assets had reached 111.8 billion yuan.
GWM owns four brands, which are HAVAL, WEY, ORA and GWM Pickup.
The products cover three categories: SUV, passenger car and pickup. With over 70 holding subsidiaries, GWM has more than 59,000 employees. On July 10, 2018, GWM and BMW Holding B.V. formally signed a joint venture agreement to establish Spotlight Automotive Ltd.
In the Chinese market, GWM SUVs and Pickups have been the sales leader for many years consecutively. Moreover, on an international scale, GWM is one of the first Chinese auto enterprises to go global. GWM began to export vehicles in 1998, including SUV and pickup. So far market layout has been completed in more than 60 countries and regions. By the end of 2018, GWM had more than 400 overseas networks covering regional markets such as Russia, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Asia Pacific, with total overseas sales of more than 600,000 units.
Technology
GWM has the HAVAL Technology Center with five functions including R&D, production, testing, modeling and data processing. GWM has realized the R&D layout of vehicles and parts and made a qualitative leap in terms of R&D strength. In the future, it will invest 30 billion Yuan to build global R&D systems and form cutting-edge advancement in active and passive safety technology, intelligent interconnection, automatic pilot and other aspects. GWM’s technical strength has also been widely recognized. It has been jointly identified as "state-recognized technology center", "unit with postdoctoral program" and "national innovative enterprise" by five ministries and commissions such as the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The development potential of GWM has been recognized on a global scale. For many times, GWM has been listed among "China's Top 500 Enterprises", "China's Top 500 Machinery Manufacturers" and "China's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises". It also has been listed in the “The Best of Asia-Pacific’s Biggest Listed Companies”, “Forbes Global 2000”, “Fortune China 500s” and “BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese brands” for years. GWM has been honored as a "recommended export brand" by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products and a "national vehicle exporter" by the Ministry of Commerce and the National Development and Reform Commission. It is the first Chinese auto enterprise among the members of Hydrogen Council.
